The course focuses on the practical development of service processes and service encounters, and customer experiences and activities in the use of service. We use the central concepts to service marketing as tools for service development. We will focus in particular on service design as one central aspect of service development and tools such as service blueprinting, customer journeys and creating personas. The main learning method used in the course is a team project where students map out and analyse a particular service from the customer's as well as the company's perspective and develop the service further based on the benchmark analyses.
