DescriptionHey! My name is Anna. I was born and raised in the Republic of Karelia, the city of Petrozavodsk. Now I live and work in the city of Helsinki, but my journey in Finland began with the cozy city of Lahti in the south of Finland and the University of Applied Sciences in Lahti.

After bachelor's degree in Lahti, I completed my master's degree at the Swedish-language school of economics Hanken (yes, in Finland you can study in three languages - Finnish, Swedish and English). Hanken gave me the opportunity to find a job through a student project with an IT company, as well as continue my path at the academy for a doctorate.

There are many opportunities for professional and personal development in Finland. During my student days, I especially appreciated the flexible education system, the close contact of universities with companies, and the resources available for starting a business or student organization. In Finland, as for life, I am attracted by high security, business culture and balance between work and leisure. I am very glad that I chose Finland as a country of study and work, and I never doubted this choice!
