Description

Growth in value generation has become the primary core to any business and this has become increasingly hard to achieve in the rapidly changing and highly competitive business arena. A recent study by Boston Consulting Group indicated that 72 % of companies worldwide will increase spending on innovation in the year 2007 and that innovation is a rising strategic priority for the majority of businesses. The responsibility of managing innovations that generates growth as well as building strong corporate brands for mastering the global competitiveness presents a major challeng for Finnish companies as well. The overall objective of the project is to develop new conceptual frameworks and practices for identifying the new opportunities for new business models, strategies and practices. The project is funded by Tekes (Liito - Innovative Business Competence and Management Programme) and five companies. The project includes collaboration with researchers from Emory University.
