Description
The research is a Nordic book-project and its main objective is to analyse the entry and learning processes of Nordic firms starting to do business in Eastern Europe. The book is to be published in English and consists of a theoretical part in looking at international business development from a network perspective. The empirical part consists of 9 case-studies from the Nordic countries (Finland (4 cases), Sweden (4 cases) and Denmark (1 case)). The empirical findings are analysed using a mutual theoretical and empirical frame of reference and comparative analyses are made. The project is carried out as a team effort between the Swedish School of Economics (Corporate Geography) and Åbo Akademi University (Dept. of Business Administration), Vaasa university, (Department of Marketing), Helsinki School of Economics, Stockholm School of Economics (Institute of International Business) and Aarhus Business School. J-Å Törnroos and J. Nieminen are the editors of the volume.
