Project Details
Description
The purpose of this comparative legal study was to examine whether and how an activist shareholder could run a public limited-liability company himself or decide how it should be run by its managers. This study focussed on three main European legal systems, i.e. EU company law, English law and German law. This study resulted in the publication of Petri Mäntysaari, Comparative Corporate Governance. Shareholders as a Rule-maker (Springer, Berlin Heidelberg 2005).
