Project Details

Description

This doctoral thesis work concentrates on organisations of organisations, so called meta-organisations. These organisations, the thesis argues, have different conditions due to their constitutional members and due to these members being organisations. The original theory of meta-organisation explored and hypothesised various conditions related to organisations as members, this thesis does so in relation to constitutional membership. In addition, the thesis focuses on steering processes, the generic intertwining process of governance, management and administration.
