The physical activity affects the physical and mental of people. Therefore it is obvious that physical activity has some impact also on the human resources and hence the Intellectual Capital of companies. There is hardly any systematic research done in the area. Related studies exist in literature concerning the effects of work-site health promotion programmes. But these contributions have not dealt with the IC aspect. In the present project the aim is to examine the mechanisms which relate people´s physical activity to empirically examine the strengths of the discovered relationships. The project also aims at suggesting suitable indicators and benchmark data for internal and external reporting purposes.
