The purpose of this research project is to develop a theoretical framework, which can be used to increase our understanding of the behaviour of senior tourists and help services marketing people to develop marketing strategies. The trend is evident and inevitable, the western society is getting older. The markets in general and tourism markets in particular will be dominated by senior people with new demand. How to meet this will be a challenge for the services marketing people. Theoretically this field is a blank area in a need of further studies.
