Description

The visual environment of young people is increasingly filled with pornographic messages. This project addresses the current and changing policies and practices of television broadcasting companies and their associated internet and other media activities (i.e. that we call “television-internet media companies”) concerning their role in pornography broadcasting and delivery in relation to young people. The project analyses the policies on pornography in 5 companies and their 8 television channels in Finland, and their role in the exposure of young people to pornography and pornographisation of young people’s everyday environment.
