Description

The main objective of the project is to identify patterns and factors behind successful internationalization of SMEs. Leading practices will be studied. The project focuses on traditional internationalization, especially export patterns, but also on patterns of born globals. Special attention is given to describing and analyzing conflicts in cooperation and competition processes, to the learning of internationalization, and to product, distribution, communication and market strategies. Part of the Liike Research Programme of the Academy of Finland. Joint Project with Professor Jorma Larimo, University of Vaasa and Anders Kjellman, Abo Academy University
