Abstract

Blockchain as a decentralised peer to peer platform appears uniquely suited to adoption within complex supply chains. Due to a paucity of research at the intersection of blockchain, supply chain and adoption this research performed a bibliometric analysis for research themes and developments. This study examines a visual representation of bibliometric data concerning adoption of blockchain technology in supply chain. Bibliometric visualisation tool VOS Viewer was utilised to map co-occurrence of keywords, occurrence of keywords by citation and density of keywords. A descriptive analysis is further included to highlight the volume of and subject areas of publications.
