Welcome & Introduction + Concluding remarks

The purpose is to discuss how to improve the effectiveness of innovation in achieving higher well-being for all people in society in the future. The panel consists of representatives from business, politics, innovation funding and academia. The main question is: Shall we continue to focus on maximizing the intended positive effects of innovations or do we gain more by trying to maximise the net effect of innovation, i.e. also by minimizing the unintended and undesirable effects and consequences for society?
