TRANSNATIONAL TRADE UNION RIGHTS

The European Trade Union Institute (ETUI) has brought together a group of legal experts who are conducting a research project focusing on three pillar issues: 1. The legal framework of the European Social dialogue and the legal status of European agreements. 2. Legal questions in relation to European Works Council Agreements. 3. The legal framework of transnational industrial action and especially so called secondary action. The project has resulted in the report "A Legal Framework for European Industrial Relations: Report by the ETUI Research Network on Transnational trade union rights" with contributions written by the participating professors, Brussels 1999.
