Cross-sector collaborations for responsibility

This chapter argues that responsible organising is not limited to managing intra-organisational matters to bring about beneficial outcomes regarding social and environmental aspirations. We turn our attention to cross-sector collaborations for corporate social responsibility and discuss how such actions can be organised in novel ways. We highlight how political action can provide a means for companies, non-governmental organisations, and labour unions alike to push for regulating how companies can do good and avoid doing harm, in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 17: Partnerships for the goals.
