Sammanfattning
Given the increasing complexity of conflict and the impact on civilians and humanitarian efforts, there is a need for revised response strategies which account for such complexities. This paper explores the activities of Humanitarian Logistics and Supply Chain Management and how these can be localised in armed conflict taking a Complex Adaptive Systems approach. Comparative case study analysis is employed applying the Context-Intervention-Mechanism-Outcome framework. Active conflicts in Ukraine, Occupied Palestinian Territories, and Yemen are examined to determine what activities are being localised during conflict and the factors in conflict that influence this.
