Sammanfattning

Researchers of contemporary network theory has lately questioned the simple and non-problematic descriptions of network development. This book chapter therefore builds on the research question "How do networks evolve in early phases of venture creation". We interviewed 23 respondents, and based on these interviews we describe the dynamics of network development in the very early phases of venture creation. We find that firms are managing in networks through a process where the network is managed in three sub-processes: mobilization, utilization and saturation.
