Sammanfattning
The purpose of this paper is to empirically study ways to stimulate suppliers for outside-in open innovation in business environment, where buyer is reliant on external resources in R&D. In specific, the main objective is to answer the question, how to increase supplier's willingness to contribute to the buyer's development process. A qualitative, embedded case study methodology is applied based on dyadic data collection. The material was collected in 18 semi-structured interviews in three m echanical engineering and manufacturing companies in Finland.
