Sammanfattning
The previous research analyses the effectiveness and efficiency of cash and voucher assistance (CVA) programmes in the humanitarian context. However, the requirements for designing such programmes are debatable because humanitarian organisations are responsible for fulfilling multiple requirements at the same time associated with the needs of multiple stakeholders. Building on stakeholder theory, this research evaluates the implicit stakeholder requirements for CVA programmes, especially when humanitarian organisations plan to design and implement them in the conflict-affected setting. A series of interviews was conducted with humanitarian practitioners who responded to the Syrian conflict. The lessons learned and propositions are formulated as contributions of the study.
