Sammanfattning
As is the tradition, the final chapter in this book does not conclude the book as much as it evaluates the way forward of humanitarian logistics research and practice. The chapter revisits earlier such predictions and adds current developments and expected, future steps in humanitarian logistics and supply chain management. Some stem from systemic changes, either from within the discipline as the move towards cash based interventions, others from outside of the discipline as is the large-scale impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on not just pandemic response but how aid is delivered overall.
